August on Siesta Key at Turtle Beach Resort and Inn.. the dolphins pass by several times a day.. most of our guests have seen the very rarely sighted manatees: swimming quietly in a pod. ... mother, father babies... playing in the saltwater bay and lagoon...
The sunsets are amazing. The beach and pool will cool you off from the summer heat... guests are relaxing in the hammocks, while watching this serene natural view.
One boat captain remarked this week.. I have never seen this end of the island, and it looks just like Thailand!
The guests are thrilled with the large discounts we provide at one of the finest gourmet, yet casual island restaurants.. a 4-5 course dinner every night from $15-20 per person.. can not be beat...
Every unit has been redecorated and guests love and want to duplicate the decor. This resort is unique, with the owners original art work on the walls!!
School is starting back, fall will be here soon, but this is still a summer, island retreat for relaxation and renewal. Families enjoy the kayaks, canoes, fishing gear, bikes, and nature. Exploring the "secret" beach is a must. We are currently doing summer/fall specials in our inn behind the beach. Labor Day weekend is also discounted from regular holiday weekend rates.
Honeymooners, special occasions.. anniversaries, birthdays, proposals... all make our resort a small island oasis for happy times.
